| Prefontaine Memorial Committee – Keeping my brother’s flame alive is only a part of what this group of volunteers works to achieve. The committee puts on the annual Pre Memorial Run (one of the toughest 10Ks you'll ever run), and money raised through sales of Prefontaine items and proceeds from the run are donated to various projects in Coos County. These projects include annual scholarships to a female or male high school athlete, donations for equipment to area schools in need, and maintainance of the Pre room at the museum located in downtown Coos Bay. Thank you to the committee for your time and committment to the cause! |
